Margaret A. Bauknecht, 62, of Toledo, OH, died Friday, April 6, 2018, in Ebeid Hospice Residence. Born October 14, 1955, in Toledo, OH, she was the daughter of Samuel and Dora (Cox) Malkuian, Sr. A graduate of the former Libbey High School, she was employed as a supervisor for the Lucas County Corrections Center for 25 years. Margaret enjoyed ceramics and selling Avon.
She is survived by her loving husband, James; sister, Helen Crego and brother, Samuel (Eleanor) Malkuian and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by 2 brothers, Michael and John Malkuian; sisters, Mary Jane, Anna Mae and Marilyn Malkuian.
Visitation will be from 3-8 pm, Thursday, April 12, 2018, at the Michael W. Pawlak Funeral Home, 1640 Smith Rd. (at Jackman) Temperance, MI, where funeral services will be held at 11:00 am, Friday, April 13, 2018. Interment will follow at Toledo Memorial Park, Sylvania, Ohio. Memorials may be made to Toledo Area Humane Society.
